Mentor for Somerset Economic Development Corporation’s

“Improving Outcomes for Youth”

 

3 hours/week at $20.00/hour

 

Goal:  Provide at-risk high school students with support in school academics, work skills, and career information.

 

Population:  8-10 high school students who are 16 or older.

 

The mentor will meet with students 2 hours a week and have 1 hour of prep time.  Topics to be covered include work ethics, job skills, support in academics, resume writing, financial literacy, job shadowing, interview skills, networking, etc.
