Maine CDC Notice

Valley families,

The Maine Department of Education (DOE), in cooperation with the Maine CDC and the Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, has released a notice that there is currently an increased risk of mosquito-borne illness in Somerset and other Maine counties. The DOE has recommended that students use an EPA approved repellent to reduce risk. Valley has repellent available to students in the office. We do need your permission for your student to use it, so please call the school at (207)672-3300 if you would like your child to use this.
