a)      State recognizes 21 high performing and improving schools – Upper Kennebec Valley Senior High School in Bingham named which is second to the top over five tiers:  priority, focus, monitor, progressing, meeting.  Our high school is recognized as among the highest 15% of Title I schools with the greatest level of progress over three years.

b)      Letter of commendation from Title I School Improvement Coach, Steve Cottrell, from MDOE

c)      Linda Hunnewell – Morning Sentinel front page coverage for 50 years of service

d)     Screen Free Week – May 4-10 – sponsored by Wellness Committee

e)      May 13th – Collaboration between Maine ASCD and M.S.A.D. #13 – Mike Anderson “Challenge through Choice”

f)       Sixteen high school students took and passed 111 college credits
